In its January 12, 2021 Board of Directors meeting, the Directors discussed at length a means to generate capital investment funding for the organzation, all in a way that allows to both provide funding to charitable projects while at the same time taking advantage of investment opportunities. After deliberation, the Board elected to request from each Board Member a monthly contribution of $100 per month per Board Director, with 50% counting as a gift and 50% counting as an investment fund for loans to entities which carry projects that fit the mission statement of Shaping Haiti's Youth, Inc. Ray René volunteered to make all payments under this resolution on behalf or SHY President Dr. Jean A. Alexandre.

Vote (Board Motion 210112B): On behalf of the President, the Vice-President called a vote to provide Shaping Haiti's Youth, Inc. with Board Gift of $250/month through 30-JUN-2021, with an additional loan fund for $250/month through 30-JUN-2021.
